A list of terms used in the comic, all collected in one convenient place for ease of acsess with definitions

Angel: An angel is a human who has died and come back to life through some extraordinary phenomenon. They vary greatly in power and appearance; often undergoing some sort of physical transformation to use their full range of abilities. An angel cannot be killed by conventional means, as they will simply regenerate (with exceptions). The only ways to permanently kill an angel is through the use of red brass or a rare angel with the ability to kill other angels.

Angelologist: Someone who specializes in the study of angels. An occupation with a very high mortality rate due to the nature of the subject, becoming a notable long-standing angelologist is rare.

Angel hunter: An angel hunter is an individual (usually human) who hunts angels. Their motives vary greatly from revenge, sport, study, tradition, and personal codes of ethics. Many angel hunters are divided into sects in a greater underground network. An angel hunter on duty is usually easily recognizable by their blood red uniform with black detailing along with their red brass weaponry. Not all angel hunters hunt to kill.

Angel instinct suppressant: A concoction administered via syringe, gas, or liquid bullets to weaken an angel or forcefully reverse a transformation. Often used by angel hunters who prefer to keep their targets alive, or to simply weaken an enemy.

Angel type: The classification angels are sorted into. Most angels are very unique, however many of them share similar traits, thus various ‘types’ were coined to categorize them.

Angel subtype: An even narrower classification of angels within a type. Often assigned a bit more loosely, as new subtypes are constantly being discovered.

Mouth of God: The Mouth of God is a higher power who controls the nature of humanity. It consists of the teeth, tongue and throat.

Red brass: An element made from human blood, brass, and treated with bromine. It’s one of the few ways to deal permanent damage to an angel. When an angel's flesh makes contact with red brass, it burns similarly to a corrosive chemical. The preferred weapon material for angel hunters (along with angel instinct suppressants).

Teeth of God: The Teeth are a group of high-ranking angels of great biblical significance, each controlling one aspect of humanity. For example, The Virgin Mary is the upper-left canine of God, and is the reason human’s wounds can heal.

Tongue of God: God's chosen messenger to Earth. Formerly the job of his son, Jesus of Nazareth, the title has been passed on to Gabriel (the angel, not the angelologist).

Throat of God: God’s word. Not a tangible person or place, but rather an idea.
